Our trip to the World Nomad Games 2024 in Kazakhstan
We are thrilled to announce that the KS AMM Archery team is heading to Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to participate in the World Nomad Games 2024, taking place from September 8-14. These unique games, held since 2014, bring together athletes from around the world to celebrate the heritage of nomadic cultures and traditional sports, such as Kok Boru, horseback wrestling, horse racing, mounted archery, wrestling, and more.
As representatives of Poland, our team flew to Kazakhstan, consisting of:
- Anna Sokólska,
- Magda Dobrzyńska,
- Emilia Truskolaska,
- Adam Turowski,
- Michał Sanczenko (all mounted archers),
- and Michał Cywoniuk, who will represent us in traditional archery.
The World Nomad Games is one of the most significant events for fans of traditional sports, and we are proud to represent our country and showcase our skills on an international stage. In the mounted archery competition, we will compete against the world’s top archers, performing in traditional styles such as Kazakh, Korean, and Hungarian.
Please keep your fingers crossed for us! We will share results and updates from the competition in our next post.
Our strategic partner for the World Nomad Games 2024 in Kazakhstan is the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
