We are proud to announce that Michał Sanczenko – co-founder of AMM Archery and Vice President for Technical Affairs of the World Horseback Archery Federation (WHAF) – is currently in China, where he is serving as the Chief Judge of the very first World Cup Qualifier event ever held in this country.

The competition is taking place at the prestigious Yangtze River Delta International Equestrian Center, bringing together top athletes from six Asian countries. Supporting Michał in the judging team is none other than Ali Ghoorchian of Iran – a world-renowned expert and head of education within WHAF.

This is a historic milestone – China is hosting a WHAF World Cup Qualifier for the first time, showcasing the global growth of horseback archery. Michał is not only overseeing the competition itself but is also actively participating in a strategic WHAF Board meeting, where key decisions are being made for the future of the sport.

A Polish Perspective on the Global Stage

Representing both WHAF and Poland as a European leader in horseback archery, Michał is using this opportunity to promote Polish values, education methods, and the internationally respected legacy of AMM Archery. In official discussions and personal exchanges alike, he is an ambassador for our culture, our standards, and our passion for this art-sport.

An exciting announcement was also made during the WHAF Board meeting: the Federation is joining the World Youth Sports initiative – a global program supporting youth involvement in sports. Through this, horseback archery will become a tool for building character, discipline, and responsibility among young people worldwide. Michał and AMM Archery are proud to be part of this movement.
