AMM Archery Returns to China – Horseback Archery Training Camp 2026

AMM Archery will once again travel to China in April 2026 to conduct a unique international horseback archery training camp. After the success of last year’s visit, we are continuing our cooperation with our partners in China and returning to train riders and archers at one of the country’s leading mounted archery facilities.

From April 2026, AMM Archery will organize another edition of the Ali Bow & AMM Archery International Horseback Archery Training Camp at the Alibow Riders Horseback Archery Base – a modern training center dedicated to the development of traditional and mounted archery.

The camp is organized in cooperation with Ali Bow and supported by the China Ethnic Sports Association, strengthening the international collaboration between European and Chinese horseback archery communities.

World-Class Coaching Team

The training will once again be led by Anna Sokólska, one of the most recognized horseback archers in the world. Anna is a multiple Polish Champion, as well as a World and European Championship medalist, known for her dynamic riding style and extensive coaching experience.

She will be joined by Michał Sanczenko, co-founder of AMM Archery, an experienced instructor and international competitor. Michał is a medalist of European and World Championship events, and currently serves as Vice President of the World Horseback Archery Federation (WHAF). For many years he has been actively involved in the development and promotion of horseback archery across Europe and worldwide.

Together, Anna and Michał will deliver an intensive training program combining modern coaching methods with traditional archery knowledge.

Training Program

Participants can expect a comprehensive program focused on both practical skills and technical understanding of horseback archery.

The camp will include:

  • Daily horseback archery training sessions on the track
  • Development of shooting rhythm, timing, and speed on horseback
  • Techniques for improving target focus and consistency
  • Competition-style training runs and performance evaluation
  • Workshops on eastern archery techniques and traditional equipment
  • Guidance on bow setup, arrow selection, and gear adjustment
  • Video analysis and individual feedback during training sessions
  • Opportunities to train alongside riders and archers from different countries

The goal of the camp is to help participants refine their technique, improve riding and shooting coordination, and gain experience in an international training environment.

Training Location

The camp will take place at the Alibow Riders Horseback Archery Base – Fuyang City, one of the leading mounted archery facilities in China.

The venue offers:

  • trained horses suitable for horseback archery training
  • dedicated archery tracks
  • professional infrastructure for mounted archery practice
  • access to high-quality traditional archery equipment produced by Alibow

International Cooperation

This training camp is part of the ongoing collaboration between AMM Archery (Poland) and Alibow (China). Over the past years, both organizations have been actively working together to promote traditional and horseback archery internationally, exchange knowledge, and support the growth of the sport.

The 2026 camp continues this mission by creating a platform where riders from different countries can meet, train, and develop together.

Limited Participation

As with previous editions, the number of participants will be limited in order to ensure high-quality coaching and individual attention during training sessions.
