On 7-12 of February, the first-ever international horseback archery competition in Pakistan took place, marking a historic event for both the hosts and the global horseback archery community. Competitors from five countries—Kazakhstan, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, and Russia—competed in three disciplines: Serial Korean, Qabak Track, and Kassai Style (unofficial).
At the same time, the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF) Championships were held, making this event one of the most significant equestrian sports gatherings in the region.
AMM Archery’s Contribution & Michał’s Role as Head Judge
We are proud to announce that our team was actively involved in the organization and execution of this competition. Michał served as the Head Judge – WHAF (World Horseback Archery Federation), ensuring a fair and competitive environment while upholding international standards. His experience and professionalism played a crucial role in maintaining a high level of competition.
Organizing this event was a significant challenge for both us and the local hosts. Naturally, there were some minor mistakes and oversights, which is understandable as Pakistan is still gaining experience in hosting international horseback archery competitions.
However, the overall support in terms of organization, infrastructure, accommodation, catering, and logistics was excellent, allowing participants to focus on the competition and fully enjoy the sport.
A Milestone for Pakistan & the Future of Horseback Archery
Under a ambrela WHAF the first international horseback archery competition in Pakistan marks a historic milestone, opening new doors for the development of this sport in the region. Despite challenges, the event was conducted successfully, and we at AMM Archery are proud to have been part of this remarkable occasion (our Michal is a v-ce Chairman of WHAF).

A huge thank you to all the competitors, organizers, and hosts – this was an important step in advancing horseback archery worldwide!
