Doha, Qatar | December 2025

In December 2025, AMM Archery (Anna Sokólska & Michał Sanczenko) was invited to Doha, Qatar, to deliver horseback archery performances during international polo competitions at Almarsa Polo Club.
This was not just a show. It was a meeting point of high-level equestrian sport, tradition, and international cooperation.
One Arena. Different Disciplines. Same Precision.
Polo and horseback archery share the same foundation:
control, timing, and trust between rider and horse.
Performing in this environment meant adapting our discipline to a high-speed, high-expectation setting, where every detail matters.
International Show Team
The performances were delivered by a multinational team of riders, combining different schools of horseback archery:
– Anna Sokólska (Poland)
– Michał Sanczenko (Poland)
– Dimitar (Bulgaria)
– Walid (Syria)
– Abdul Rahman (Qatar)
This created a unique format — not only a show, but a cross-cultural presentation of mounted archery traditions.
Performance
The program included:
– fast-paced horseback archery sequences,
– coordinated group riding and shooting,
– demonstration of traditional techniques,
– elements combining sport performance with historical context.
The focus was clear:
precision under pressure, movement at speed, and visible control.
Behind the Scenes
Every performance required:
– working with new horses,
– adapting to local conditions,
– building timing and coordination within an international team.
No shortcuts.
No rehearsed routine brought from home.
Everything built on site.
Why It Matters
Projects like Doha are part of a broader strategy:
– positioning horseback archery in international equestrian environments,
– building partnerships beyond Europe,
– presenting Polish experience on a global stage.
This is not occasional exposure.
This is consistent international work.
